I think things have got a little confused. Since I'm submitting three
interlinked things.
To simplify this whole discussion and make the patches easier to audit. I
have now committed the pure class shuffling. It didn't need a vote anyway.
Whats left is the translation tarball'ing (dist) and the code feature
(--enable-auto-locale) to make us of those. I'll post the updated patches
for those again tonight with as many of your suggestions included as seem
reasonable for this release.
We can continue discussion in separate thread for each update and
regarding only the particular patch.
