I'm now getting compile problems.
Under the new state does USE_POLL or HAVE_POLL have preference over
runtime code? (src/structs.h:1567 versus src/stat.cc:993)
Both of those have come in from HEAD over the last two merges (in their
respective order). I patched earlier according to structs.h, but this
has made me think again.
