Ok.
I have switched Squid-3 to use the awk scripts now. Lets see if it
breaks someone. Should not.
Squid-2.5 being in it's frozen state will stay using the perl scripts,
but at least there is this discussion and the scripts in squid-3 should
someone else need to build Squid-2.5 without perl.
