And more is coming. Big thanks to Guido for helping with this porting of
Squid-2.5 patches. The list of 2.5 patches to port to squid-3 is still far
from empty however, and a lot of work remains there.

The likelyhood that this gets fixed is increasing rapidly.

One good thing is to help processing the many Squid-3 bug reports, and
make patches where possible.
The status of Squid-3 is that the feature freeze for Squid-3.0 has been
released, moving Squid-3 back into open development status.
There is a several patches pending to get included in Squid-3 which is
scheduled to go in as soon as I find a free spot. This includes both
bugfixes ported from Squid-2.5 and a few interesting new features.
