Again thanks for the speed and attention you all provife, kinkiy, hats off,
and Robert, always a pleasure. Also I think Roberts right, we should all pat
ourselves on the back, for without this mailing list, the developers would
be just like any other company out there that isnt opensource, receiving bug
reports slowly, and without much information, and be inundated with what
isnt a bug, but just a troubleshooting issue. Thanks List!

Yes, it's that time of the year agian, where we actually fix bugs!

The attached patch fixes the bug that Adam Shields is seeing (flakey
NTLM networks will fail cleanly and deny access rather than crash squid)
and also fixes two bugs in the basic authentication code.

Changelog:
21 mar 2001 Robert Collins
    * auth/ntlm/helpers/NTLMSSP/ntlm_auth.c: Send error details within
the squid-helper protocol (Kinkie)
    * auth/basic/auth_basic.c: Cleanup multiple requests when
credentials recieved (Rob)
    * acl.c: Use the connection credentials when testing for
authentication status. (This fixes a recently introduced bug with
persistent NTLM connections). (Rob)

thanks,
Rob

Adam: apply the attached patch to your current code and rebuild - you
should be fine.
